Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Cambridge, MA is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented server to join our guest-focused team. You will deliver food and beverages to guests with garnishes and accuracy, ensuring items are served promptly and together.

The role requires stamina to stand and move quickly, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to the GUEST model—greeting, eye contact, understanding needs, solving requests, and thanking guests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for the entire shift.
• Must have a good sense of balance, be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, push, pull and wipe.
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry food, beverage, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages orders, with appropriate garnishments and condiments to guests.
• Responsible for making sure all food items are served as soon as they are ready.
• Each guest seated at a table should be served together - Timing is important.
• Respond to questions with informed answers.
• Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests, following the GUEST model: Greet, Use eye and ear contact, Establish needs, Solve requests, Thank guests.
• Build a solid relationship with your Colleagues, treating colleagues with respect and dignity.

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

$20.00 to $22.00 Base Pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
