Job summary

Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Food Runner to support servers and ensure guests have an amazing dining experience. You’ll assist with refills, pre-bussing tables, and timely food delivery while maintaining high safety and sanitation standards.

You will greet guests, take drink orders, and help with opening, mid-day, or closing duties. A positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to comply with company uniform standards.
• Strong guest-service mindset and positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with management and guests.

Job Description: At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Food Runners support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Food Runner, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders

Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner while anticipating Guest’s needs

Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables to expedite Guest service

Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional Guest service

Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required

Comply with the company uniform standards

Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience

Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests

Must act with a swift sense of urgency

Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
