Job summary

Dave & Buster’s Inc./Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Server to provide outstanding guest experiences with friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will learn the menu, upsell items, and maintain beverage and food quality while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, excellent communication, and a positive, fun atmosphere for guests and coworkers alike.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage is preferred but not required.
• Must be 18+ with Alcohol Certification as required.
• Uniform standards apply.
• Aim to create a memorable guest experience.

• Clear communication with management, team, and guests.
• Must demonstrate urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage every guest.
• Be the ambassador of FUN and hospitality.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Show beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate guest needs.
• Adhere to local and state alcohol laws and policies.
• Handle payment transactions and invite guests back to the FUN.
• Keep the server station clean, stocked, and organized; complete side work.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Servers serve up great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Server, you are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with all guests.
• Be our ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!)
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
• Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN!
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe work area, server section, all while completing the necessary side work
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required
• 18+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Must act with a swift sense of urgency
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
