Job summary

Main Event in California is seeking a friendly Food Runner to support servers and ensure guests have an excellent dining experience. You’ll assist with refills, bussing, delivering food and drinks, and keeping the dining area clean in a fast-paced environment.

No prior food and beverage experience required; a positive attitude and teamwork are essential. You’ll greet guests, take drink orders, and handle opening, mid-day, or closing duties at on-site locations.

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• Must comply with the company uniform standards.
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description: At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Food Runners support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Food Runner, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders

Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner while anticipating Guest’s needs

Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables to expedite Guest service

Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional Guest service

Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required

Comply with the company uniform standards

Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience

Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests

Must act with a swift sense of urgency

Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
