Responsibilities

• Ensure all material used by server is clean and ready for operation.
• Fill and refill water glasses and remove unused place settings.
• Clear dishes after courses are finished by guests.
• Reset tables for new guests.
• Assist servers with tasks as needed.
• Deliver food from kitchen to tables.
• Keep workstations well stocked.
• Clean workstations and dining area.
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Ensure regular attendance.
• Perform other required duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation.
• Fills and re‑fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used.
• Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins.
• Assists the server when needed.
• Assists the servers by checking food tickets and delivering food to tables.
• Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients.
• Clean workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties required.

Education/Experience

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Work is performed in dining outlets, sometimes outside.

Physical Demands

Primarily standing or walking for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift trays of food/drinks sometimes repeatedly.

Expected Hours of Work

Variable Schedule with nights, weekends and holidays required.
