Job summary

Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is looking for motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support operations in a fast-paced food and beverage production environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance while learning advanced testing and inspection techniques.

You will perform lab and floor quality checks, test pH, moisture, salt, viscosity, color, and inspect seals, paperwork, and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Solid computer and math skills required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to complete hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab and floor quality checks per work instructions.
• Test food quality (pH, moisture, salt), viscosity, and color.
• Assess product attributes: appearance, flavor, aroma, texture, and mouthfeel.
• Perform can seam inspections using CCTV/x-ray for seal integrity.
• Monitor x-ray and Tap Tone systems during production.
• Verify production paperwork and packaging specs; ensure GMP compliance.
• Initiate and manage Non-Conforming Product procedures.
• Inspect equipment cleanliness and production environment.
