Qualifications

• 2 years of college and 1–2 years of quality control experience.
• 4-year high school diploma with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in QA, HACCP, and food industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct standardized tests on food products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform flavor analysis including testing products with common allergens.
• Check metal detector operation and report malfunctions.
• Gather retention, microbiological, and control samples from raw materials and finished products.
• Prepare microbiological sample composites and paperwork for laboratory pickup.
• Examine and approve product labels before printing.
• Place products on hold and assist with investigations as needed.
• Complete daily paperwork as assigned.
• Adhere to SQF, HACCP, GMPs, and safety regulations.
