Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Eau Claire, WI. The role focuses on quality, food safety, and manufacturing with hands-on work in a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has a life science background and strong attention to detail. You will perform swabbing, collect samples, and coordinate testing with outside labs while maintaining records and supporting safety and environmental monitoring programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, or another Life Science preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and being on your feet throughout the shift.
• Good communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Previous quality, laboratory, GMP, food manufacturing, or pharmaceutical experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental and microbiological swabbing throughout the facility.
• Collect samples, document results, and coordinate testing with outside laboratories.
• Support food safety, sanitation, pest control, and environmental monitoring programs.
• Work with production and quality teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and follow GMP, FDA, and SOP requirements.
• Gain hands-on exposure to quality systems and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.
