Job summary

Gellert Global Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to uphold GMP, HACCP and SQF standards in our North American food manufacturing operations. The role centers on ensuring product quality through inspections, label reviews and sanitation checks in a fast-paced environment.

You will support production with problem solving, perform inspections, and ensure compliance across departments. A minimum of 2 years in manufacturing QA and HACCP knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment.
• HACCP knowledge; certification preferred or willingness to obtain it
• GMPs and food safety procedures
• SQF standards knowledge; SQF Practitioner certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Ensuring employees adhere to GMPs and sanitation standards in all departments.
• Following up product quality by conducting inspection rounds.
• Perform production checks including metal detector, CCP seals, weight and labels.
• Be a consistent presence in assigned production areas.
• Conduct visual inspections for GMP violations in each department.
• Inspect raw bulk products and finished goods for quality and labeling.
• Support production staff in problem solving and investigations.
• Enforce SQF guidelines and HACCP analyses; support pre-requisites.
• Organize daily testing so product release is correct; check/release products prior to shipment.
