Job summary

Gellert Global Group seeks an FSQA Technician to monitor and enforce food manufacturing controls with a strong emphasis on hygiene, sanitation, and product quality. This role performs quality control testing and reports to the FSQA Supervisor/Manager.

Responsibilities include GMP adherence, conducting inspections, supporting production teams, and ensuring proper sampling, testing, and release procedures are followed to maintain product safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of manufacturing/food production experience.
• Thorough understanding of HACCP; certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Thorough understanding of GMPs and food safety procedures.
• Working knowledge of SQF food safety standards; SQF Practitioner certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining focus for extended periods.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues as they arise.
• Collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees adhere to GMPs, hygiene and sanitation standards in all departments.
• Conduct inspection rounds for product quality (metal detector CCPs, seals, weight, labels).
• Perform visual GMP checks and raw material inspections; oversee finished goods checks.
• Support production staff in problem-solving.
• Support SQF, HACCP analyses and prerequisite programs.
• Collect, label, log, bag and organize samples for lab testing; verify orders.
• Organize daily testing so product release is correct and ensure products are released prior to shipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by following rules and procedures.
• As needed, perform other duties.
