Job summary

Cuisine Solutions in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Quality Control Technician I who will support food safety, regulatory, and quality standards across the production line.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work on 2nd or 3rd shift, and collaboration with QA and USDA inspectors; prior food industry experience preferred; high school diploma required.

Training provided for HACCP and other certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant, food industry, or sanitation company.
• Ability to demonstrate values of honesty and integrity, respect for others, teamwork, accountability and performance.
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents quality control inspections.
• Conducts and documents employee inspections for personal hygiene and GMP.
• Collects samples for laboratory or sensory testing.
• Performs equipment calibration as established by QA procedures.
• Responsible for identifying and investigating non-conformities.
• Serves as the point of contact with the USDA Inspector and follows up on any requests and coordinates actions.
• Assists with the training of new QA and production staff.
• Works on specific technical projects, including training and special inspections.
