ATX Specialty Foods in Kyle, TX is seeking a Quality Control Technician to monitor food safety and product quality across manufacturing and packaging. You will perform pre-operational inspections, environmental swabs, and sanitation checks to verify SOPs and GMPs are followed, and support CCP monitoring and documentation.

You will also verify incoming ingredients, manage hold and disposition, collect lab samples, authorize finished product release, and collaborate with production and receiving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or quality field or 2-4 years of QC experience
• Experience in a food environment and ability to analyze data

Responsabilités

• Monitor food safety throughout the manufacturing and packaging process
• Perform/review pre-operational inspections and swabs
• Ensure correct SOPs are being followed
• Ensure GMPs are followed
• Keep track of product on hold and/or disposition
• Work with receiving to assure raw ingredients quality
• Perform CCP checks and record keeping
• Collect product samples for lab tests
• Authorize finished product release
