Job summary

Advatix Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Technician – Food Manufacturing to support QA and food safety in a fast-paced plant in San Antonio, TX. On-site, full-time role with 1st or 2nd shift options; compensation $35,360–$41,600 annually. You will conduct inspections, collect samples, maintain records, and support CAPA and audits.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in food QC/QA, GMP knowledge, and strong attention to detail, with effective communication across production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control/assurance in food.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document quality control inspections throughout production.
• Perform GMP inspections and monitor food safety compliance.
• Collect product and environmental samples for testing.
• Calibrate equipment and maintain calibration records.
• Monitor production to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Verify products meet quality and safety requirements.
• Identify and communicate quality or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain organized inspection, testing, and quality records.
