Jones Networking is recruiting a Food Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to join a growing QA Department within a premium food production facility in San Antonio, TX. Qualifikationen

• College Degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years experience managing / supervising Quality and Food Safety Operations in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with GFSI standards.

Aufgaben

• Participate in the preparation and implementation of SOPs for all tasks related to Food Quality and Food Safety.
• Identify the need for improvement of current programs and implement the necessary changes while properly communicating with QA and Production Management.
• Assist with quality control staff supervision; train staff, review their performance through document review and task audits and provide guidance for improvement.
• Investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformities while working with all operations departments; determine root cause analysis, implement corrective action and follow up on the efficiency of the changes made.
• Review production and quality control records, ensure that corrective actions are taken as needed.
• Ensure the plant is operating in accordance with federal regulations, customer requirements and BRC standard.
• Oversee pre-requisite programs (maintenance, supplier approval, pest control, sanitation, environmental & product testing, and allergen programs.)
