Qualifications

• 1–2 years in Food Quality Control in a commercial kitchen/manufacturing setting.
• Basic HACCP/GMP knowledge; training available.
• Ability to spot inconsistencies in product appearance or paperwork.
• Ability to instruct production to stop or adjust when not up to standard.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular checks on the production line for dough thickness, filling weights and pleat integrity.
• Monitor and record critical control points such as internal meat temperatures and metal detector checks.
• Pre-op inspection: ensure machines/surfaces are cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain daily logs for temperature, batch tracking and quality deviations.
• Inspect incoming ingredients for freshness and FIFO rotation.
• Perform sensory testing on cooked samples from each batch.
