Job summary

Moji Food in Seattle is seeking a Plant QA Manager to lead food safety and quality assurance programs across fresh and Ready-to-Eat products. You will drive HACCP plans, CAPA, traceability, and supplier controls on the production floor.

This hands-on leadership role partners with Production, Maintenance, and IT to ensure compliance with USDA/FDA requirements, audits, and continuous improvement, while mentoring staff and maintaining robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA in food manufacturing.
• Strong HACCP, GMP, sanitation and preventive controls knowledge.
• Proven ability to establish and improve QA programs.
• Experience with traceability, recalls, and CAPA.
• Ability to work hands-on on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of food safety and QA programs.
• Oversee HACCP/SSOPs, sanitation, SOPs, GMPs, allergen control, traceability.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and certifications.
• Perform plant assessments and develop corrective action plans.
• Manage documentation and records for audits and compliance.
• Train staff and promote a strong food safety culture.
