Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college experience is a plus.
• Laboratory experience is a plus, but not required.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and grade ingredients and materials received for quality.
• Comply with Quality Assurance standards and GMPs.
• Grade incoming frozen, dry and liquid ingredients and packaging materials.
• Collect samples and grade for defects, color, and size.
• Perform inspections for foreign material.
• Pull samples for microbiological and pesticide analysis.
• Maintain Quality Control Receiving records.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Demonstrate cooperative behavior with staff.
• Flexible to work different shifts.
