Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. in Perry, GA is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician to monitor production processes, verify compliance with GMP, Sanitation SOPs, and GFSI standards, and help maintain a safe, high‑quality environment across plant operations.

This 2nd‑shift role is onsite at the Cook facility. This position requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of related work experience; experience in food quality or safety is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer in a related field.
• Experience in food quality or safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately conduct product reviews for compliance to include grading, packaging and weights.
• Monitor and enforce company Quality and Food Safety Policies.
• Perform product reviews with Operations Group.
• Familiar with GMP and Sanitation SOPs and implement corrective actions when deviations are observed.
• Evaluate potential for foreign material contamination in assigned areas.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management to meet department needs.
