Job summary

Dole Packaged Foods, LLC in McDonough, GA is seeking a Production Technician I for 2nd shift to ensure safe production and the quality of Frozen Fruit. You will operate, maintain and sanitize packaging equipment and work with a team to meet daily metrics.

The role requires following GMPs, SOPs and safety rules, with ability to lift and perform repetitive tasks in a cold environment. Flexibility for overtime, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as box markings, labels, schedules, safety rules, GMP's and general instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing process and equipment
• Previous operating experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high paced environment
• Reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to operate manual and motorized pallet jack and walkie stacker

Responsibilities

• Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Follow all SOP's for the operation of the equipment used.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime.
