Job summary

GloryBee Foods in Eugene, OR is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support our food safety culture. You will review docs, analyze data, conduct taste-testing, and report findings to help meet goals, ensure specs, and reduce waste.

This is a full-time hourly role Monday–Friday with a collaborative, community-driven team. Ideal candidates have at least one year in QA or a related field, familiarity with GMP/HACCP, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in QA or a related field in food/agriculture preferred
• Pass GMP, HACCP, and other Food Safety Training
• High school diploma required
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Review documentation to ensure products meet specs
• Create COA based on tests and distribute as needed
• Prepare samples for lab and customers
• Review third‑party lab reports
• Ensure releases align with lead times and hold statuses
• Conduct aseptic sampling and targeted testing
• Perform organoleptic taste/sensory testing
• Collaborate with Production on quality needs and CAPA
• Coordinate with Purchasing on product qualifications and SCARs
• Investigate customer complaints and identify corrective actions
• Conduct in-house quality testing
• Evaluate materials under deviation
• Support additional duties and projects as assigned
