Job summary

SnackCraft is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards in a Grand Rapids lab setting. You will serve as the knowledge base for safety, quality, and process parameters, acting as the last line of defense before product shipping to consumers.

The role involves detailed documentation, data entry, and collaboration with production leadership to prevent delays and ensure timely, accurate feedback.

Qualifications

• Quality assurance inspections and tests to ensure product quality.
• Analytical testing of raw and finished products (microbiological, chemical, physical).
• Identify quality issues and implement effective solutions.
• Follow GMP, safety policies and maintain thorough documentation.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP, HACCP/HARPC, BRC and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform attribute testing at set frequencies (net weight, moisture, oil content, etc.).
• Prepare and verify customer samples meet requirements.
• Maintain QA lab and equipment cleanliness.
• Provide production paperwork as needed (labels, records).
• Inform leadership of safety or quality issues immediately.
