Job summary

Workforce Strategies, Incorporated in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Quality Technician on the 2nd shift to safeguard our snack production lines. You’ll perform hourly checks, log results, and flag issues such as mislabeling, allergen risks, or sanitation lapses.

You’ll monitor HACCP points, verify allergen controls, document everything precisely, manage product holds, retain samples, and support test runs or audits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of quality experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects on fast-moving lines.
• Must be able to speak, write, and read basic English.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and allergen controls.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and percentages.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly quality checks across five production lines.
• Log results and flag any issues promptly.
