The job requires a high school diploma (college education a plus) and 1+ year QA/QC experience in food manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of QA/QC or operations experience in food manufacturing.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Reliable and safety-focused, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food safety, product quality, and GMP practices on the manufacturing floor.
• Perform in-process quality inspections on production lines each shift.
• Check production paperwork, retain samples, lot/code dates, weights, labels, and metal detection records.
• Perform scale checks and metal detector audits.
• Place materials on hold when quality or food safety issues are identified.
• Conduct allergen, glass, brittle plastic, magnet, and metal detection audits.
• Prepare retain samples and maintain QA supply inventory.
• Monitor GMP compliance and report issues.
• Conduct internal plant audits and maintain QA documentation.
• Escalate serious food safety concerns and shut down production when necessary.
