Job summary

Accurate Personnel in Mokena, IL is seeking a Quality Control Associate to ensure products meet quality and safety standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in food manufacturing QC, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement and food safety compliance.

The role offers a 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule with 3–6 days per week, including weekends, and a starting pay of $20/hour with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality control experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; English-speaking candidates encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and QA practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience performing inspections, audits, and quality documentation.
• Ability to calibrate and use quality measurement equipment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality inspections and testing during production.
• Ensure products meet QA and food safety standards.
• Collect and analyze samples for quality and shelf-life evaluations.
• Identify quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection, audit, and compliance documentation.
• Calibrate measuring and testing equipment.
• Conduct internal quality audits and assist regulatory inspections.
• Monitor raw materials to ensure approved ingredients.
• Remove defective products to maintain quality.
• Review and update QC procedures as needed.
• Investigate customer complaints and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and management to improve quality.
• Promote GMPs and safe working practices.
• Mentor team members and support training.
• Approve finished products for shipment after specs.
