Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive QA experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of USDA regulations and QA procedures.
• Knowledge of SPC, SSOP, and SOP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and 50% standing in cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities and workflow of QA Technicians.
• Oversee implementation of food safety programs to meet company requirements.
• Assist with product trials, process changes, and start-ups.
• Review QA records daily for accuracy and compliance; initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production to resolve product inconsistencies.
• Lead investigations and preventive actions related to food safety and quality.
• Provide guidance, training, and development to QA staff.
