Job summary

Green Bay Dressed Beef, LLC (Acme Street) is seeking a QA Technician to support quality assurance activities at our Green Bay, WI plant. You will perform daily tasks, oversee GMP and SOP compliance, and conduct inspections to ensure product quality aligns with specifications.

You will also collect samples, document findings, and interact with USDA as needed, while performing strength level 3 work and training in required programs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in varied temperatures and around moving equipment with PPE.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without accommodations.
• Must communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak) and complete written documentation.
• Willingness to work extended hours Monday–Saturday with overtime; start times vary by production needs.
• Must complete training in Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and Food Defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rotation of tasks (temperatures, weights, sampling, grade changes).
• Review and accurately complete GMP checks and corrective action logs; ensure accuracy.
• Conduct pre-op/condensation/swabs inspections.
• Monitor food safety and quality procedures on the floor; report deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Perform visual line and finished product inspections to ensure specifications.
• Collect samples for lab analysis and ensure proper documentation.
