Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York seeks a Program Manager for the Feeding Our Neighbors Department to supervise food program operations, data reporting, and event coordination across NYC sites.

The role emphasizes monitoring program compliance, data collection, and collaboration with management, sites, volunteers, and partners. Requires a Bachelor’s or 5 years in food/customer service and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or at least five years' experience in the food industry and/or customer service industry.
  • Bilingual, Spanish English Required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess conduit food programs to improve efficiency, compliance, data collection and reporting.
  • Develop corrective actions with FON management to maximize program operations.
  • Track program assessments and ensure year-round compliance and progress.
  • Ensure program sites meet funding, inspections, data collection and safety standards.
  • Report monthly compliance and progress with recommendations.
  • Collaborate with department director to engage new sites and determine support.
  • Collect program data and maintain master client/meals database with PLENTIFUL APP.
  • Provide reliable responses by phone/email regarding programs.
  • Attend trainings and represent agency at events as needed.
  • Support special projects and events; assist with budget process discussions.
  • Expand knowledge of emergency food sector, hunger and poverty issues.
  • Support SNAP team with outreach events and data collection.
  • Provide support to FON Director.
  • Other duties as assigned.
