Job summary

IFF Inc. in Texas Carrollton is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of food products. You will supervise production personnel, optimize labor and equipment utilization, and drive continuous improvement.

This role partners with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams, enforces HACCP and GMP, and mentors staff to develop skills and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (food science, engineering, operations management or similar).
• 3-5 years in a leadership role in food/beverage or regulated manufacturing.
• Experience supervising hourly production employees in fast-paced settings.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, SQF, BRC, FSMA or equivalent systems.
• Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen experience and process improvement.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP; strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and service goals.
• Optimize workforce utilization, equipment performance, and material flow.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to maintain continuous operations.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, sanitation and allergen controls; support audits and CAPAs.
• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives and monitor KPIs like safety, yield, downtime and schedule attainment.
• Provide coaching, performance reviews, and development for production staff.
