Job summary

Flying Food Group, LLC is seeking a Food Production Supervisor in Hawaii to oversee daily production, ensure HACCP, maintain sanitation, manage schedules, monitor performance, and train staff.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires coordinating hot and cold food processes, controlling waste, maintaining recipes, and meeting daily production deadlines while managing overtime and safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of internal policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of HACCP requirements, GMP and sanitation requirements.
• Competent to work independently, ask questions and seek direction as needed.
• Knows and follows all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment.
• Effectively gives and receives feedback
• Must be able to function within a team environment.
• Performs tasks under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, guidance and supervision to employees to enable them to work more effectively.
• Oversee hot and cold food production processes.
• Ensure daily 'food ready time' for Cold Food packing.
• Train employees in production processes and measurements.
• Manage production schedules to minimize overtime.
• Verify production sheets and HACCP control documents.
• Reduce waste and control food costs.
• Hold regular team meetings to review results and safety.
