Flying Food Group in Hawaii is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Tech to support FSQ operations in a fast-paced production environment. You will maintain records, perform GMP/HACCP checks, collect samples, monitor data, and help prepare for audits under supervision.

This is a full-time hourly role with steady hours and a path to contribute to product safety and quality. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work independently are valued assets for success in this

Qualifications

• Experience as FSQ Clerk/Tech or similar clerical role.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SOPs, and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency; bilingual preferred.
• Reliable, motivated and team-oriented with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FSQ team with daily food safety and quality activities.
• Maintain accurate FSQ records on time.
• Perform GMP and sanitation checks in production areas.
• Collect and organize product, ingredient, and environmental samples.
• Monitor production data and record temperatures, weights, and other quality parameters.
• Verify batch records and production paperwork are complete and accurate.
• Support document control and FSQ recordkeeping.
• Assist with product hold, release, and traceability documentation.
• Notify supervisors of safety or regulatory concerns observed during inspections.
