Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Illinois is seeking a Production Operator who will operate all equipment in the assigned area, ensuring quality, safety and performance standards while supporting efficient production of our products.

You will perform changeovers, periodic cleanings, fill out all required HACCP and paperwork, maintain supplies, and execute cleaning/inspection/lubrication tasks. You will also participate in TPM teams and promote 5S and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate degree in engineering/manufacturing.
• 2+ years in food manufacturing with automated processes (PLC/HMI).
• Experience in TPM environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in the assigned work area while meeting quality, safety and performance standards.
• Communicate effectively with team leader and peers.
• Fill out HACCP and related paperwork correctly.
• Encourage and support a safe working environment.
• Keep the manufacturing area clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Perform cleanouts and changeovers; participate in TPM teams.
