Job summary

C.H. Guenther is seeking a Production Operator to support food manufacturing operations in Elk Grove. You will operate mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, ensuring production targets are met while following GMPs and safety protocols.

You will assist with quality checks, sanitation, record-keeping, and collaboration with the QA team to maintain product quality and process efficiency. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, SOPs, and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery such as mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment.
• Monitor processes and troubleshoot issues to maintain flow and quality.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs to ensure product assembly, labeling, and packaging quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area and equipment.
• Record production data, logs, and inventory in the reporting system.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and QA for efficiency and safety.
• Work overtime or non-standard hours as needed.
