Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a production operator to support daily manufacturing in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role involves setting up equipment, monitoring line speeds, and maintaining product quality and safety standards on the production floor.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime, weekend shifts, and varying temperatures are expected. Email [e-mail] for applications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0--1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with physical labor in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods and work in varying temperature conditions.
• Flexible working overtime, weekends, and alternative shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and pre-running equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Controlling line speeds, batch formula, production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product appearance and safety.
• Completing various quality checks.
• Completing all required paperwork (e.g., downtime, HACCP) utilizing SAP, SOPs, Safety operation, training, as appropriate.
