Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Days Production role in Faribault, MN. This contract-to-hire position involves setting up, operating, and cleaning machines that mix or blend food-grade materials, plus weighing and recording measurements.

You will handle raw materials, move products with pallet jacks, and work under GMP guidelines. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work safely around chemicals, and participate in forklift training.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move heavy materials safely.
• Familiar with GMP and safety procedures in food manufacturing.
• Basic math for measurements and record-keeping.
• Willingness to work onsite in a fast-paced production area.
• Clear communication with team and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and clean production machines that mix, blend, or agglomerate food-grade chemicals, liquids, and materials.
• Monitor production parameters and follow SOPs.
• Receive, sample, and document raw materials.
• Manage waste according to SOPs and facility guidelines.
• Move product with a manual pallet jack and weigh products on a digital scale.
• Read and record digital weights accurately and handle bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull large bowls on wheels up to 1,000 pounds; perform tasks safely.
• Operate production control panels and related equipment; perform basic math for adjustments.
• Climb stairs/ ladders as needed; maintain GMP and safety compliance.
• Attend orientation and participate in forklift training; apply safety policies.
