Job summary

The position features 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation (A shift). Candidates should have basic computer skills and prior machine operation experience with ability to learn forklift certification as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior work-related experience and/or training.
• Intermediate level of computer/technological skills.
• Ability to train for forklift certification.
• 6 months or more of experience in machine operation.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean, if necessary, all equipment prior to the scheduled start time to ensure on time start-ups.
• Perform quality checks on product being produced and record information.
• Monitor spiral freezer operations and address ice buildup to maximize quality and production run length.
• Perform necessary sanitation duties to get the system back up and running in set time.
• Troubleshoot equipment not running effectively.
• Adhere to GMPs and safety policies and ensure product quality and safety.
• Report any conditions affecting food safety or personnel safety to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
