Job summary

Fresca Mexican Foods is seeking a Production Operator to support the safe and efficient manufacturing of food products. You will operate production equipment, monitor processes, and maintain cleanliness in the production area.

Responsibilities include quality checks, following SOPs, reporting deviations, and collaborating with plant teams to meet production goals. Physical stamina and the ability to work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment (mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment).
• Set up machinery per production specs and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues for smooth production flow.
• Conduct quality checks on materials, intermediates and finished goods per SOPs and GMPs.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs for assembly, packaging and labeling to ensure quality.
• Report deviations to supervisor/quality control team.
• Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear PPE; participate in safety trainings.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in production area; dispose of waste per policy.
• Follow production schedules to meet targets; communicate issues to supervisor.
• Maintain production records (batch logs, inventory) in the reporting system (Redzone).
• Collaborate with team; communicate during shift changes; flexible for overtime.
