Job summary

Fresca Mexican Foods LLC in Caldwell, ID is seeking a Production Operator for first shift (5:15 am – 5:15 pm, Wed-Sat with rotating Thurs). The role focuses on operating mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, while maintaining GMP and safety standards.

You will monitor quality, record keeping in Redzone, and support a fast-paced production environment. The position requires a High school diploma or GED, plus experience in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (FDA/USDA) and GMPs.
• Ability to operate production equipment safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment per specifications.
• Set up machinery and ensure proper functioning for production runs.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot issues to maintain flow.
• Conduct quality checks on materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs for packaging and labeling.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and areas.
• Record production data in logs and the production reporting system.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and collaborate on improvements.
