Job summary

The DeLallo Penn Production facility in Penn, PA is hiring for a Food Production Line Associate. This role operates machinery, assembles ingredients to recipe guidelines, and maintains cleanliness and safety on the line.

Preference is for a high school diploma, with on-the-job training provided and potential for overtime. You will work with a motivated team to meet production targets while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Must be available to work 5 to 6-day work weeks and extended hours as needed.
• Successfully complete drug screening, physical and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a high attention to detail.
• Operate and monitor food production machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assemble food products or ingredients according to recipes and production guidelines, including portioning, mixing, and packaging.
• Inspect food products for quality, including size, appearance, and consistency; report defects to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment.
• Handle raw materials and finished products with care, including loading and unloading ingredients and packaging materials.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
• Work effectively with team members to meet production goals and assist colleagues as needed.
