Job summary

DeLallo, a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of specialty Italian foods, is seeking a Production Sanitation Technician at our Penn, PA facility. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing production areas to uphold high food-safety standards.

Working Monday through Friday with a 2:30 pm start, you will help maintain equipment, floors, drains, and common areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning and sanitation experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate a high attention to detail.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and stoop.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work in an environment with allergens such as gluten, cheese, pine nuts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize production equipment
• Clean drains, floors, tables, and bathrooms
• Clean lunchroom, locker room, and entrance area
• Ensure that walk-mats are filled with sanitizer for oncoming shift
• Pressure wash as needed
• Remove all garbage and cardboard
