Job summary

Giovanni Food Company is seeking a Production Operator II to join the second shift on the production floor. The role involves operating machinery, inspecting products, handling materials, and maintaining equipment according to safety and quality standards.

The position offers base pay of $18.00–$20.50 per hour, with a $1 shift differential on 2nd shift and eligible quarterly bonuses. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus a willingness to train and work in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to be trained; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support different tasks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to support the flow of products on the line.
• Inspect containers, labels, and codes for quality and accuracy.
• Bring materials to the line according to the daily production schedule.
• Clean and maintain equipment and workstations.
• Work with Quality Assurance to meet all safety and product specs.
• Follow food safety practices including HACCP, GMPs, and SSOPs.
• Complete required documentation accurately and legibly.
• Report any production issues or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and team-oriented work environment.
• Support teammates and assist in other areas as needed.
