Qualifications

  • Prior work-related experience and/or training.
  • Intermediate level of computer/technological skills.
  • Ability to train for forklift certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 months or more of experience in machine operation.
  • Prior forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and clean, if necessary, all equipment prior to the scheduled start time to ensure on time start-ups.
  • Perform quality checks on product being produced and record information.
  • Monitor spiral freezer operations and check for ice buildup on belts and coils.
  • Perform sanitation duties to get the system back up and running in a set time period.
  • Troubleshoot equipment that is not running effectively.
  • Adhere to GMP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements and report any conditions that may affect food safety or quality.
