Job summary

The role supports daily production goals across the department, with opportunities to work with manual and machine-assisted tasks, rotate functions, and learn GMP/HACCP procedures while staying on your feet in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Self-directed with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work.
• Read and understand HACCP, FDA and OSHA requirements as needed.
• Ability to use basic utensils and tools in a production setting.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive manual tasks to process turkey products.
• Ensure product safety and defend product quality in the plant.
• Follow GMP and HACCP procedures related to product safety.
• Support all food safety initiatives in the facility.
• Some tasks use tools or equipment; others are manual.
• Monitor equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Rotate through processing department functions as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
