Job summary

Butterball is seeking a Production Associate to perform manual and machine-assisted tasks in turkey processing, cutting, and packaging while upholding strict safety, quality, and sanitation standards. You will support daily production goals in your assigned department within a high-noise food processing plant in NC.

As a team member, you will rotate through various line functions, follow all GMP/HACCP procedures, and monitor equipment for safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
• Read and understand HACCP and FDA/OSHA requirements as needed.
• Ability to use utensils/tools and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform varying manual, repetitive tasks to process meat from the turkeys.
• Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
• Follow GMP and HACCP procedures related to product safety.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Rotate through processing department functions as needed.
