Job summary

Shenandoah University is seeking individuals to manage the setup, blow down, and wash down of scales in the scale mezzanine to meet production standards. Successful candidates will ensure that safe quality food standards are maintained while performing various duties in a cool work environment.

A high school diploma or GED is necessary, and while previous experience is beneficial, training will be provided. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food processing facility is desired but not required; training will be provided.
• A general understanding of plant operations and various departments is beneficial.
• Candidates must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Blow down and wash down scale machines.
• Set up scales for Master Packs.
• Ensure an adequate supply of Master Packs is available.
• Maintain cleanliness in the area.
