Job summary

Colonial Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Clean Room Sanitation Worker to maintain hygiene in meat, seafood and poultry processing areas by cleaning, washing and sanitizing workspaces.

You will prep the processing room, power down and break down equipment, remove cardboard and waste, and operate high/low pressure wash systems at 120–140F while following MSDS procedures and reading chemical labels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prep Processing room for washing
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms
• Use high and low pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification
