Tate & Lyle in Sycamore, IL, is hiring Process Operators for a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will support blending, sifting, processing and packaging while ensuring food safety, quality and efficient operations.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMP, safety training, and continuous improvement. The pay ranges from $22.78 to $29.37 per hour, with shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts, and a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout a 10-hour workday.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsibilities and duties in accordance with food safety, legal, and quality requirements.
• Monitor and support production processes with established procedures and work instructions.
• Assist with blending, sifting, packaging, and processing activities.
• Monitor product quality to identify, discard, or rework defective products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records to support manufacturing performance analysis.
• Report environmental violations, near misses, unsafe acts, incidents, defects, hazards, and procedural inadequacies to ensure corrective action.
