Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 year degree in related field a plus.
• 1–2 years mechanical experience preferred, Food Processing a plus.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documents.
• Clear communication skills and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints, sketches, diagrams and operating manuals.
• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Program PLC systems.
• Repair refrigeration systems.
• Repair and rebuild pitter equipment and parts as needed.
• Weld parts or structures and fabricate components as required.
• Operate line equipment unassisted and manage plumbing installations.
