Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Food Processing Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift (4/5pm start) in Kansas. The role supports canned coffee production across Wichita and Manhattan facilities, performing repairs and preventive maintenance to keep line equipment running.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, and PLC/electrical troubleshooting, with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in maintenance with 3–4 years related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams and mechanical handbooks.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Experience in production environment maintenance; food-grade production preferred.
• Ability to work well with others and fix issues promptly.
• Experience across electrical, pumps, plumbing, conveyors, HVAC and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment
• Mechanical troubleshooting incl. electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic
• Repair and maintain machinery such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors
• Read and interpret manuals for maintenance schedules
• Maintain auxiliary equipment such as chillers, heaters, dryers, grinders, conveyors
