Simmons Foods, Inc. in Arkansas is seeking an ICut (Day Shift) team member to learn, perform and rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader roles to maintain line speeds on each product.

You will work on a moving conveyor, pack and weigh products, inspect for quality, and contribute to team goals. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to LEAN principles and safety policies while maintaining clean, efficient lines.

Responsabilités

• Works on a moving conveyor belt, using both hands to pack and style product on the belt.
• Performs multiple types of packing and weighing.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes product that does not meet standards.
• Participates as a member of the Team and supports the development and implementation of team concepts and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices.
• Follows Simmons operating systems principles and objectives, including quality, security, office environment and LEAN, and communicates concerns and improvement ideas.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives and does not limit the scope of work.
• Physical Activities: able to move, push or pull up to 55 pounds and work in a cold, wet, noisy, dusty environment; repetitive motion; may rotate through cold and hot areas.
