Job summary

Simmons Prepared Foods Inc is seeking a hands-on Grinders role at the FPT VBC site. You will rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader to maintain line speeds and product standards for each designated product.

On-site, full-time position in a poultry/food processing environment. You will work on a moving conveyor, perform packing, weighing, bone removal, inspection, and teamwork to support Lean operations, safety policies and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate on a moving conveyor belt.
• Ability to pack, weigh and inspect product.
• Willingness to rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader.

Responsibilities

• Works on a moving conveyor belt using both hands and handles product on the belt.
• Performs packing and weighing tasks according to product and line requirements.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes product not meeting standards.
• Coordinates with team to ensure adherence to Lean principles and safety policies.
